Hello, I’m Cherie.
I’m a photographer, photomedia artist, and creative explorer based on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Photography has been part of my life for more than three decades. It’s how I notice the world — light on water, the quiet details most people pass by, the moments that hold feeling long after they’re gone.
Over time, that way of seeing expanded into other forms of creativity.
These days my work moves between photography, collage, paper craft, storytelling, workshops, and the small rituals of making things by hand.
Some days that looks like capturing landscapes along our beautiful coastline.
Other days it’s cutting paper at my studio table, experimenting with texture and colour, or guiding a room of people through a calm, hands-on creative session.
At the heart of it all is the same idea:
Creativity doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down just enough to notice what’s around us — and then make something with it.
