The Ferris wheel photo is reimagined against a backdrop of fierce colour, planes and birds, the Ferris wheel symbolizing the repetitive nature of passed on traumas. The sky blazes with vibrant hues, like a sky above a battle ground, suggesting of a war that can be waged, while the planes and birds represent freedom and release from inherited trauma, there can be conscious choice to rise above and move forward.
Crafted from my own hand-made textures and photographs, this piece invites the viewer to embrace the duality of past and present. The rich, layered colors speak to the tension between light and darkness, reminding us of the transformative power of self-awareness and reflection.

This artwork has been created using many elements that I have either photographed or created and scanned, some elements come from general life and travels others from nature and local place. I been known to photograph a natural element to use to form the right background or texture, sometimes with a vision in mind and other times not for anything specific but with an intuition of something needed to create with.
These all fall under the banner of fine art photographs, abstract art or digital mixed media it really depends on your persuasion however for me they form an expression, a medium for a voice that is vocalised with colour, texture and elements.
